This policy explains what data the Doom TV app and website collect, how it is used and protected, and your rights. Doom TV is a media player only: it does not provide any channels, movies or content and does not sell IPTV subscriptions. Content comes from the service provider the user adds themselves.

1. Data we collect

• Device identifier: an identifier generated by the app (shown as MAC Address / Device ID) with a device key, plus the device type, name and OS version, to link and activate your device. We do not access your phone number, contacts or location.
• Account data (optional): display name and email if you create an account on the “My account” website. Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes.
• Playlist data: the server address, username and password, M3U link or activation code you add. Stored encrypted on our servers and used only to play your playlist on your devices.
• In-app usage data: favorites, watch progress, watch history, profiles and their settings (including a kids PIN), to sync them across your devices.
• Crash reports: when the app closes unexpectedly it sends, on its next start, the app version, device model, Android version and technical crash details. They never contain stream links, usernames or passwords.
• Server logs: IP address and request time, for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use data

To activate your device, play and sync your playlists, provide support, fix problems, improve stability and protect the service. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except the IPTV provider you added (the app connects to it to play your playlist), our hosting providers, or when legally required. The app may show movie artwork and information from TMDB without sending it any personal data.

3. Security

All connections use HTTPS. Playlist credentials and passwords are encrypted in our database; access is restricted and rate-limited.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account or device is active. You can unlink devices and delete playlists at any time from the app or the “My account” website. To permanently delete your account and all its data, contact us using the details below; deletion is completed within 30 days. Crash reports and server logs are deleted automatically within 90 days.

5. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. A PIN-protected kids profile is available, controlled by the parent.

6. Your rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data and object to its processing by contacting us.
